Rad Visual is a highly regarded printer and sign-maker on the Gold Coast. I spent a few months working there as a junior designer and was asked to redesign the company logo.
The owner Ryal wanted a handmade logo that paid respects to traditional signpainting. I used a brush pen and pencil to sketch out the initial letterforms until we were happy with the shapes then scanned and vectorised the final design.
The approved version was used on shirts, vehicles, stationary, website, social media, embroidery and business flooring for many years.
